Responsibilities

The responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

  1. Support organizational activity forecasting and ensure adequate vertical and horizontal visibility for the senior management team in all projects within the organization
  2. Work with the Senior Management to organize and execute assigned tasks (business development strategies, business process improvement, business plan writing, etc.)
  3. Complete a wide variety of administrative and technical tasks that facilitate the Senior Management’s ability to effectively lead the organization, including assisting with special projects; conducting research on assigned projects, designing and producing complex documents, reports, and presentations; composing and preparing correspondence; maintaining contact lists; making travel arrangements, etc
  4. Attend meetings with assigned clients when needed and perform an initial assessment of necessary information required for the meeting, take minutes, follow up on detailed action points, and track deliverables.
  5. Manage and coordinate projects, conferences, and events while keeping track of timelines, deadlines, and other related matters.
  6. Oversee organizational brand promotion strategies and activities.
  7. Work closely with the Senior Management to keep them well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities and follow up appropriately to ensure timely completion. Act as a "barometer," having a sense of the environmental issues and keeping the senior management updated.
  8. Provide sophisticated calendar management for the Senior Management: Prioritize inquiries and requests while troubleshooting conflicts; make judgments and recommendations to ensure smooth day-to-day engagements.
  9. Any other duty may be assigned by the Senior Management within the scope of expertise.


Leadership development

  1. Participate in the Sydani problem-solving, ideation, and capacity-building sessions
  2. Participate in Sydani’s periodic performance reviews and provide feedback to team members for performance improvement as applicable.
  3. Attend relevant local and international seminars, workshops, conferences, etc


Requirements

  1. Minimum of bachelor’s degree (First class or second-class upper) with at least two years of professional experience in a similar/related role.
  2. Significant executive support experience, including supporting C-level executives.
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong team working and interpersonal skills.
  4. Experience with international development, research, business proposals, implementation, and management consulting.
  5. Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  6. Flexibility to travel (local & international) at short notice based on work schedule and assignments.
