Research and Learning Consultant (Immunization Project)

We are committed to developing innovative strategies that strengthen immunization program implementation in sub-national consequential geographies in Nigeria, particularly focusing on states with high populations of zero-dose children.

Key Responsibilities:

§ Design and implement research studies and evaluations to generate evidence on immunization-related issues, including vaccine coverage, access, acceptability, and equity, in collaboration with project partners and stakeholders.

§ Develop research protocols, data collection tools, and analysis plans, and ensure adherence to ethical guidelines and standards throughout the research process.

§ Collect, analyze, and interpret quantitative and qualitative data using appropriate research methodologies and statistical analysis techniques, and prepare reports, presentations, and publications to disseminate research findings.

§ Facilitate learning events, workshops, and webinars to share research findings and promote knowledge exchange among project stakeholders, including government agencies, healthcare providers, community organizations, and other partners.

§ Contribute to the development and implementation of project learning agendas, including identifying research priorities, knowledge gaps, and learning questions to inform project strategies and interventions.

§ Collaborate with project teams to integrate research evidence into program design, planning, and implementation, and provide technical assistance and capacity-building support to project staff and partners.

§ Engage with key stakeholders, including policymakers, practitioners, researchers, and communities, to foster partnerships and collaborations that support the translation and uptake of research evidence into practice and policy.

§ Support project monitoring and evaluation efforts, including developing indicators, data collection tools, and reporting mechanisms to track project progress and outcomes

§ Contribute to grant writing, fundraising, and proposal development efforts to secure funding for research projects and initiatives.

§ Mentor and supervise junior research staff, interns, and consultants involved in research and learning activities, providing guidance, support, and feedback as needed.
