Job Summary

Position: Grant Finance Officer

Reports to: Grant & Compliance Specialist

Job Type: Fulltime

Work Mode: Hybrid

Location: Abuja

Travel requirement: Up to 20%

Purpose:

To support financial oversight, grant accounting, and budget management for assigned donor projects, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage day-to-day financial operations for grants valued up to$1m.
2. Review and post expenditures, ensuring compliance with donor and internal policies.
3. Prepare monthly grant financial reports and variance analyses.
4. Support partners with financial monitoring and reporting.
5. Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and cost allocation.
6. Participate in grant close-out and audit support.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
2. 3–5 years’ experience in NGO or donor-funded project accounting.
3. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
4. Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
