Financial Management Analyst

Travel time: Less than 40%


Responsibilities: 

 

  1. Analyze and evaluate financial data and systems, particularly in the context of healthcare, to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities. 
  2. Develop and maintain financial models to support decision-making and budgeting for health financing initiatives. 
  3. Conduct statistical analysis and data interpretation to inform financial and economic strategies. 
  4. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure alignment with international development frameworks and global health initiatives. 
  5. Prepare detailed and clear financial reports and presentations for diverse audiences, conveying complex concepts in an easily understandable manner. 
  6. Work on various financial tasks, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial statement analysis. 
  7. Identify challenges and propose innovative solutions to improve financial efficiency and effectiveness. 
  8. Assist in the implementation and monitoring of financial strategies and policies. 
  9. Maintain a high level of accuracy and precision in all financial analysis and reporting tasks. 
  10. Manage multiple tasks simultaneously, effectively prioritizing and meeting deadlines. 

 

Requirements: 

 

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or any related field. 
  2. A minimum of 3 years of proven work experience in health financing, health economics, or a closely related development field. 
  3. Strong understanding of financial principles, especially as they pertain to healthcare systems and financing. 
  4. Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and statistical tools. 
  5. Familiarity with international development frameworks and global health initiatives. 
  6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences. 
  7. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams. 
  8. Detail-oriented, with a commitment to accuracy and precision in analysis and reporting. 
  9. Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. 
  10. Problem-solving mindset, with the capacity to think critically and propose innovative solutions. 
  11. Knowledge of relevant software applications, including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.
