FINANCE ANALYST

Responsibilities:
- Analyze and evaluate financial data and systems, particularly in the context of healthcare, to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support decision-making and budgeting for health financing initiatives.
- Conduct statistical analysis and data interpretation to inform financial and economic strategies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure alignment with international development frameworks and global health initiatives.
- Prepare detailed and clear financial reports and presentations for diverse audiences, conveying complex concepts in an easily understandable manner.
- Work on various financial tasks, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial statement analysis.
- Identify challenges and propose innovative solutions to improve financial efficiency and effectiveness.
- Assist in the implementation and monitoring of financial strategies and policies.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and precision in all financial analysis and reporting tasks.
- Manage multiple tasks simultaneously, effectively prioritizing and meeting deadlines.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or any related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of proven work experience in health financing, health economics, or a closely related development field.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, especially as they pertain to healthcare systems and financing.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and statistical tools.
- Familiarity with international development frameworks and global health initiatives.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Detail-oriented, with a commitment to accuracy and precision in analysis and reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Problem-solving mindset, with the capacity to think critically and propose innovative solutions.
- Knowledge of relevant software applications, including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.
