Key Responsibilities:
1. Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct in-depth market research to assess industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
- Provide actionable insights to inform collaboration efforts and enhance competitiveness for projects and programs.
- Present research findings and strategic recommendations to senior management.
2. Data Collection, Analysis, and Reporting:
- Lead the collection, analysis, and interpretation of data from various stakeholders, including donors, government agencies, and private sector players.
- Identify key decision-makers and influencers among stakeholders to support strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
3. Policy Direction and Strategic Planning:
- Identify key policy directions and sectors with special government focus and funding opportunities.
- Work closely with leadership to develop data-driven strategic plans and objectives for business growth.
- Provide recommendations for optimization based on thorough research and analysis.
4. Culture of Continuous Improvement:
- Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making within the unit.
- Encourage and implement best practices for market intelligence and strategic insights.
Qualifications and Key Attributes:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Economics, Data Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive working experience in a similar field
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data collection and analysis tools.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with government policies, funding mechanisms, and stakeholder engagement strategies.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and statistical analysis software.
- Solid understanding of market research methodologies.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
