About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and creative Communications Intern to support our communications team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with photography and basic graphic design and will be willing to take on a variety of communications related tasks as assigned. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate looking to build a career in communications within a dynamic work environment.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Design high-quality visual content including flyers, banners, social media graphics, infographics, reports, and presentations.
  2. Support the development of branded communication materials for projects and programs.
  3. Assist in the photo documentation of official activities and engagement.
  4. Maintain brand consistency across all visual outputs in alignment with Sydani Group's style guide.
  5. Collaborate with program and communications teams to translate ideas into compelling visuals.
  6. Manage and organize Communications assets in a structured manner.


Requirements

  1. Minimum of a bachelor’s degree (BSc) in Communications, Mass Communication, Media Studies, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
  2. Residency in Abuja is required.
  3. Proficiency in photography with a good eye for visual storytelling.
  4. Basic graphic design skills with experience using Canva, Adobe Photoshop, etc.
  5. Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
  6. Good organizational and time management skills.
  7. Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid team structure.


Preferred Skills

  1. Experience in video editing.
  2. Familiarity with social media management.
  3. Strong writing skills for digital content
